Today was wp's music school showcase. I sang back-up for her.We were the first to perform. We performed Happen which is an original song by wp. I personally like that song. I specially wanna thank Xuan Wen, Peirong, Chelsea and Weishu for turning up. Xuan Wen thx for taking the video and Chelsea thx for taking photos. Pei Rong thx for yr compliment, means a lot, hahas.Shi Qi, I understand that yr Gramps is in the hospital. I kept asking Chels and Xuan Wen to sing in the open mic but they don't want to=)

Hi girls,

Long time no post. It was a very fun adventure in UK. I fulfilled my childhood dreams of going to London to see Big Ben, Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace. It has been very exciting and there were lots to see. It did 'snow' a little-in between snow and ie at the Lake District. It had been a very cool experience and yes, this trip is so worth going! I feel safe to say that this trip was very meaningful and obviously fun! If u wanna look at the photos of the trip to England u can go to facebook to see, I'm still trying to upload more.

As you know O levels are next year I read a very interesting article that may benefit us. I think we could try this method.

1. Set a Goal to achieve for GCE O Levels. How many points are you aiming for? Since this is June, you may have 3 months to go before the Prelims. Your Goal Statement could be "To achieve 6 points for L1R4 by end of September for my GCE O Levels Prelim Exams".
2. Set up a Time Table. You should have stopped most of your CCAs already. Now focus in preparing for Exams. In your study time table, you should focus on subject revision, practice mathematics, group study, working on past years' exam questions.
3. Form a small group of about 4. Ensure the other 3 friends in your group have the same goal to achieve good results for their GCE O Levels also. Locate the least distractive place to study. Could be in a friend's home, some country clubs, a quiet McDonald restaurant.... or even in the church you attend.
4. Distribute Past Exams questions to each member of your group. Give each time to research and produce the best answer. Then get the person to teach and share the answer he is responsible for. The most powerful thing to do is to teach others, you learn best. Get your friends to question why he answer it that way. The more questions you throw in to clarify your friend's answer, all of you will learn. If a similar question appear for the Final GCE Exam, you are bound to score well with the best answer.
5. Find time to relax. Do not panic and get stressed up even if you have a number of subjects you are very weak in.
6. Help your group members. If you find that he is rather weak in a certain subject, help him. Spend more time with him in that subject, the more you spend time to teach and explain, not only does he gain better understanding, but you become an expert in that subject also.
7. Start revising those subjects which the group find the weakest in. Find out who is expert in which subject, and get him to be the leader in that subject. If all are weak in a certain subject, you can approach your subject teacher together to get help..... or look for a good tuition teacher to assist your group. You pay less if it is group tuition.
8. Make sure that you eat healthily and drink a lot of water or juices. Do not just consume fries and hamburgers and coke.... this is not healthy at all.
9. Spend time with your parents. Keep them updated on what you and your friends are doing. They are the ones who worry most about how you are doing in school. If you are honest with them, they may want to help you find a good spot to study. They will even want to participate in helping you as your tutor, your driver, your runner to help buy you food and drinks. Please work with your parents... this is the best time to allow them to bond with you.

I know it's very wordy but I feel that maybe it does work! What do u think?

Hello!

omg. i am so damn tired. had been working for the past 5days and today, i hav to wake up so early..
i miss my bed.
now den i realise wad yingxuan mean by "wait till u are fully committed."
i so tired!
was stressed up by the sales for the first few days! hah, yingxuan was like assuring me luh.
lol. wp,wx, u all shld buy more!!!

today was amkss open house.
hav to stay ther till 4? yea,, was verii enthu when it reaches abt 2plus? haha, thanks sherilynn for being the 1st customer to buy the candles! haha! mrs quek was quite surprise that quite a number of teachers bought the candles. mr toh bought too! but ms teo didn cos we didn manage to see her..
and to tell u all,, (car pls dun be angry) actually mr tan wh rmb carina! and told me not to shout "carina" in fornt of him again! hah, actually he shld hav told sq instead :D

Amkss Open house today! It was not as bad as expected. Got to talk to some of the parents and kids. Most of them are pretty nice. Btw I really like Justin Bieber's song One Time!

Today was a very meaningful day! Woke up supposedly at 6.30am but couldn't so 6.50am. Ate my breakfast. Was a little late. Auntie Elsie asked me and wan pei and another pei-hwa ex-student, Joan, who is sec 3 next year,if we wanted to help out in today's day camp. Later on, Joan's friend, Sam came too. I thought it would be a great chance to make myself useful instead of daydreaming at home. We were in-charge of the home-economics section.Each student will have two buns with lettuce then put one bun with egg and cheese, the other with tuna. There like ten crates of buns.It was fun! To prepare the buns, we placed two buns in each plastic container, washed the lettuce. I like the placing of buns in container. We had a very long break after we were done with 2 batches. Auntie Elsie allowed us to eat some buns and biscuits. The buns were so soft!We helped out till 12.30pm. The SYFC came to Pei-Hwa to guide the students during the day-camp. In SYFC were Janice and Elyse!
Auntie Elsie then treated us for lunch and ice-cream in West Mall. That was so generous and nice of her. She treated 4 of us! She shared som interesting facts with us during lunch, like onion is good for flu. She's really really nice. She even gave us some extra buns to bring home. Love the buns! She gave me and opportunity to make myself useful.
After that, met Shi Qi, Pei Rong and Pei Rong de at CK tank. We went to Far East to look for jobs. Most of the shops didn't accept 15 years old. We went into Pastamania to ask for jobs then the person in charge handed us some forms. When we were about to fill in he asked if we were 16. We said no then he took back the forms. It was a little funny. Pei Rong bought a pair of really nice shoes.
After I returned home, I realised my maid was not in, I asked sis where she was and wp said our maid went out to "buy" egg. She seemed to be gone for very long. According to wp, she left since 5pm. When I came back at 7pm she was still not back. I thought maybe she was lost. I dind't cross my mind why she wanted to escape. We treated her so well, even better than how we treated Lizzie when she first started working for us. Wp said when she came home, she saw our maid dressed in jeans. Her room didn't have luggage or any of her things except Lizzie's clothes and the plaster we gave her. Why did she run-away. We never mistreat her. We fed her well, gave her time to adapt. Miss Lizzie, Lizzie was awesome. Lizzie was so headstrong and focused, she's also very pretty. Lizzie's getting married, wish her all the hapiness she could have. After I took my shower, wp phoned mum to tell her about the escape. Mum is in malaysia visiting my ah gong, Dad is in Hong Kong attending his law course. No parents were at home, that was when wp and I felt a bit panicky. We were afraid she would come home with a group of people. The keys were missing. It meant she could come back in. She was so innocent when she worked for us, but I have to say I am thankful she has integrity not to steal our things.
I was so hungry then, thinking about it, I'm hungry now. Luckily we had the buns Aunty Elsie gave in the morning, thanks to God. Dad told us on the phone one of us to buy our dinner and one to stay at home. We both didn't feel safe so decided to cook rice for dinner. Wp prepared the rice. It was too little so I cooked more. We had a bowl of rice with some japanese sprinkles. It was then I felt thankful for every meal God provided me with. We called Chelsea to ask if she had a big padlock, we told her what happened too. Chelsea told us she didn't. Mum called us and asked if we could trouble Chelsea's Dad to get a padlock for us. I know it could be very troublesome. Wp then called Janice to ask if she had a padlock, then about why we needed it. Guess what about fiveminutes, Janice called back and said she would come to our home with the padlock. I was so thankful at that moment there was somebody to help us. Janice, Cheryl Janice's younger sister who's still in Pei Hwa) and Janice's mum stood outside our home and asked us what happened concernly. It was so nice of them to do something like that. Janice's mum was always very kind and warm. I'm so happy to be able to know them. They took the trouble to come to our doorstep with the padlock. The padlock was too small but it was ok, I felt that I was so happy they came to advice us and assure us.
My mum tried to contact Aunty Lay Yong but she couldn't be reached. My mum could contact Aunty Chew Koon. Aunty Chew Koon was so good. She called me and told me she would be at my home in about an hour's time with a pad-lock. Aunty Chew Koon asked us if we were all right and that we could contact her anytime. It was past 11 when Aunty Chew Koon and her husband arrived. She gave us the pad-lock that cost $40 rounded off. When wp handed them the money Aunty Chew Koon said it was ok, and she told us we could contact her anytime. It was so thoughtful of her and her husband to buy the padlock, and drive all the way to Bukit Timah. Wonderful people...... today I've met such wonderful people that are so kind and willing to lend a helping hand to people

It's teachers' day celebration. Performances like Amks's Got Talent, DOn' forget the lyrics. Aces day. This year's teachers' day seem to come suddenly, I didn't have time to get gifts for the teachers, maybe cos the celebration is on mon? Sorry don't have enough time to elaborate on this.
Took bus to my primary school after the celebration in school. Met Chelsea at the bustop then went into the primary school. It was packed with ex-students of the school all wearing different uniforms. Chelsea, sis and I found Shi Ning outside the staff room. There was a notice saying ex-students weren't allowed inside the staff room. we had to wait quite a bit outside the staffroom as that area was really jammed. We decided to go up to the hall to see if there were any teachers' we would like to meet. It turned out to be P1 and P2 pupils. Mdm Poon, my former P2 teacher told us to procede to level 1. She seemed a little irritated. How could she not remember me? I was her P2 student, a very good student, nominated by her to be a prefect( although somehow I didn't become 1). We then went back to the 2nd floor which was where the staff room was located at. Bumped into some peeps.The staffroom was a little less congested after a while so we 'sneaked in'. Met Mrs Chee, she's nice. I asked her if she remembered me and she said I looked familiar, then she looked at my name tag. What hit Mrs Chee was when I said I had a twin sis. I guess many people remember me and wp as twins. Chelsea, Shi Ning, Wp and I had lunch at Bukit Timah PLaza the very small mall opposite our pri school. Saw my juniors, also neighbours Janice and Elyse with their friends in Bukit Timah Plaza. I remember playing with them every single day after school at the clubhouse. After lunch I left Bukit Timah Plaza for J8 to watch movie with Jenell, Mei Jiao, Alice, Xuan Wen and Carina.
The movie is 吓到笑. Btw Mei Jiao thanks for helping me pay for the tickets, Jenell thanks for telling me the info, Alice thanks for your gummies, Xuan Wen thanks for being the laughing hyenna, Carina thanks for making me feel that I'm not the only amateur in horro movies. I recommend those who want a little chill in their spine and laughter in their tummy to watch it. To be honest, this is probably one of the few horror movies I've seen.It's like a rollercoaster ride. Xw always laughed at me for screaming at some 吓人的scenes. There was one scene where Alice, Jenell and Mei Jiao screamed and then laughed loudly afterwards. Pardon me for my broken English here I'm writing whatever that comes to my mind.
I had a GREAT time with them, it was fun!
After the movie went to pick up Xw's new guitar.
Afterwards celebrated Mum's birthday by having dinner with her, as a family. Mum picked a tiramisu cake. We sang the birthday song and cut the cake in the kitchen as my home is doing a renovation, my dining room cannot be used.

By the way Xuan Wen your guitar is ok. It's really quite ok, so enjoy playing it:)

Went to art club today to finish off the art work, I have to admit Ms Ng Siew Kuan helped me a lot and I used Alice's figures. I painted halfway then I had to leave to have lunch then attend piano lesson. Jenell and Alice wanted to go for lunch. They persuaded me and xw to have lunch for quite some time so they did something that was cute, smart and funny at same time. Alice blocked the door, Jenell took our valuables from our bags to prevent us from going back into the art terrace and just go for our lunch.
THANK YOU XIN HUI for helping me complete my art work! Xw told me about it. Thank you, a million times birdie. The credits of my art work should go to you and Ms Ng, hahas!

friday, went to art..

hah.

we (wanxuan, jacqq, jenell and alice plus me!) went to suki sushi for our lunch!

haha! It was FUN! haha!

after eating, jacqq (or jenell or alice) came up with the idea of stacking up the plates with the same colour tgt to let the waiter 眼花 so he can count wrongly and we can save money! LOL! at first, we placed the plates like tis(the pic at the bottom) but we changed the position alot of times and finally decided to be like tis(the pic on the top). haha, it was kinda stupid but it was fun.. and we oso planned to giv the waiter a 'fed-up face' to let him pai sei not to recount the number of plates! hah! we planned to get a waitress (the gal who says our drinks is foc) and oso not to get the manager all those.. but we waited quite long and it's gettin kinda late so we get a waiter who came out of the 'curtains' (i tink is staffroom or smth..) b4 tt i was like saying "他都没有出来leh!" cos he was like not coming out. i tink he heard me saying, so he came out quite immediately! hah!

and could tell frm his face tt he was like recounting the plates many times and oso 暗笑! HAHA! we succeed!

frm tt onwards we couldn control our laughter anymore! was laughing like siao like tt! and it was obvious tt we gu yi make him luan de!! the BLACK and the ORANGE-YELLOW part was the killer! hah! den he was like "25 plates rite?" he himself oso not sure! blur diao le! haha! but ya, it was 25 plates. we didn pian him. It is the process, not the result! LOL!

Today went to watch Hannah Montana the movie with xw, wp and chels.
Tennessee is such a beautiful place. I love the sweet, boy-next-door Travis Brody played by Lucas Till. Miley and him makes a really good couple. This is the first ever on-screen couple I like. I'm not a fan of Zanessa or the Edward Cullen and Bella couple.
The whole movie is just so humble.
Not gonna spill anymore of the movie secrets.
So after the watching the movie, we met sq, mj and mj's cousin.
Afterwards, mj's cousin left. Sq and Mj introduced us to their guy friends who seemed pretty shy among well let me count one two three four five, five girls. Well, who wouldn't feel awkward. I think they aren't so shy around Sq and Mj since they met before.
Getting pretty late, gotta go to school tomorrow to finish up that art thing.

Hey peeps!

Today I had a wierd but sorta pleasant surprise. There's this guy in my songwriting class called WG. I think Xuan Wen knows who I'm talkin bout. Wan Xuan said he looked shuai

He was very against me and mean to me since the day he thought I liked him (durin march i think for many weeks). He thought I like him cos I had a good look at him when teacher ask me to ask him question cos wan xuan said he was shuai mar! I also never like him! There are so many examples:
1. When I answered a question wrongly that the teacher BN ask me. WG answered it correctly den , BN: wow I'm surprised WG: Of course! common knowledge....it's very obvious he was insulting me.
2. When I practised something wrong and BN corrected me, WG shook his head in a disgusted manner.
3. When WG didn't come for 1 lesson. BN borrowed my paper to photocopy for WG. My paper had a lot of notes den he said: wa! y so many....(he said somethin unpleasant afterwards)
BN: people like to write notes cannot meh? (she very good! she help me..hahas)
4. He purposely don't stand beside me and I purposely stand beside the malay boy so as to show I didn't like him
5. Whenever I did something wrong like play wrongly, he will shake his head in a 看不起我 manner.
6. After my performance, he didn't clap for me, he clapped for everyone else except the weakest student
7. I sit behind him and he still go and ask the guy sittin further away to borrow a pencil, very obvious he against me
8. When I performed, he will go outside of the class to 'play hand phone or go toilet'
......I think still got somemore but I cannot remember

den I decided to give a taste of his own medicine. I'll admit I was a little mean to him but not as mean as he was to me.
1. I didn't laugh at his joke
2. When he turned back (he sits in front of me), I'll give an unsmiling unfriendly look
actually I didn't like being mean but that was the only way.

den maybe he felt bad so he stopped treatin me like that

Since like 3 weeks ago,
1.he stopped shakin his head,
2.when teacher played my written song, he swayed along-it's like he enjoyed my song or just appreciating my effort of wrting that "china" song cos it used only pentatonic scale( that means cannot use F and B). But he still didn't stand beside me la
3. When I cracked a joke which the whole class laughed, he laughed as well
Today I was shocked

1. He turned back and I could tell he was listenin last time when I performed he will go outside.
2. He swayed along at least to give me some support then after a while. He suddenly turned and looked at me and said "Pencil? politely. Den I was aghast. I dropped somethin on my keyboard( I shocked mar) den I gave him my pencil. WG said thanks nicely. He borrowed my pencil for very long so I had to use pen to sorta "do my tuition corrections"(but actaully I didn't do tuition homework cos I brought the wrong file so I just randomly took one E Math worksheet and do cos I very bored). Den he turned and returned me my pencil and looked at what I was doing then he said in a friendly and amiable voice "A Math ar?"
I tried to act normal and said confidently but expressionless " MM A Math" nodding even though I was actually doin an E math paper cos I wanted to feel more high class so I just had no time to think and I anyhow reply and I feel bad I lied. If he had carefully looked at my worksheet and know I lied, I will feel so embarrassed. guilty!

Den he said " Sec 3 ar or..." I was still shocked so I looked up and at him den i saw that actually he does have a cute face, quite good lookin la. Den I said" MM Sec 3" den he was still turnin but I guess I scared later he think i like him den he treat me badly again so i didn't ask him how old he was even though I wanted to. Maybe he was expectin me to ask so his body was still turned but I didn't say anythin so he turned back.

Den my face dunno y turn red, cos i feel very awkward.

Den he turned back again and asked to borrow pencil again den he said thanks nicely again .I hoped he didn't see my face.
Maybe he feels bad and want to make friends with me so he's being so nice. Maybe I should be friendly to him but not too much first cos later he 误会 again

That's about all, what a long post! thanks for readin! Can't wait to perform and hear u guys perform too tomorrow. Cya

AMERICAN IDOL 8 FINALE

I watched the live telecast of American Idol Finale @ 8am on Channel 5 and it was amazing. I had a lot of fun man! Becos it was an incredible feelin- they were performing right there right now and I was watching what they were doin right here right now. It was so much fun! I actually enjoyed myself a lot. The performance were great, it was overall a really great show. The songs they performed there were nice! I even got up on my feet and danced along to upbeat performances

like Adam's performance with Kiss. I liked David Cook's performance of 'permanent" he cried becos he was thinkin of his brother who died of cancer earlier this year. The song was beautiful and he sung it really well. Honestly, I loved it. I liked Kris Allen's performance with Keith Urban-both were playin in the guitar-the song was upbeat and brilliant and I loved it a lot! Jason Mraz performed too! He's amazin. I officially like "I'm Yours" but my new favourite song is "No Boundaries". Many people dislike it but honestly, I like it! The lyrics are wonderful and the tune is spectacular. I can tell that it's a very difficult song to sing. Both Kris and Adam did a great job in singing it.

I was praying for Kris to win cos he's my favourite since Top 12 (I think) and it's been marvelous that he made it all the way to Top2. I know who won but I'm only gonna say in my next post becos Xuan Wen and Shi Qi still dun noe...hahas. I'm not gonna give them any clue. Xuan Wen thinks Adam soung No Boundaries better and he'd win. Shi Qi, Wan Xuan and I think Kris did well. I really hope he'll win and you guys will find out the results tonight at 12pm. :)

Kris wife (Kady) should feel so lucky to have such a talented husband who has a great personality. To be honest, I was kinda jealous of Kady to find such a great husband. But anyways it's bad to be jealous so I'm not that jealous anymore.

Overall the Finale was very fun to watch. I laughed, sang along, stood up, clapped and screamed (softly). I even captured my reaction using my phone when I was waitin for Ryan to announce the winner. My face was funny! hahas. I still remembered last year bein so disappointed that David Archuleta didn't win.

and the new American Idol 2009 is....................

I know during exam is difficult to take time to write long letters and buy gifts so thank you so much. Shi Qi thank you for taking two days to get my gift and you know exactly what I want. Xuan Wen, thanks for accompanying sq to buy my present, that's why Xuan Wen felt paiseh when Shi Qi bought a drink for her yesterday to show her appreciation to Xuan Wen for accompanying her.Xuan Wen thanks for the card you made, I know it took a lot of time for you to write and print photos especially during the exam. Carina and Xuan Wen thanks for getting me the cute pack. Since Xuan Wen chose it, thanks for choosing this cute pack, I really like it. How do you know I like these things? Yesterday we ate at Suki Sushi, then had to rush for piano class. Thanks Wei Xuan, Carina and Ju Wei for giving me birthday wish yesterday. Thanks Jenell, Mei Jiao and Xuan Wen for sending me birthday wishes today. I wanna thank Chelsea my friend/neighbour for the lovely gift and coming over to my place.
Had buffet for lunch today and it was yummy. This will be the only time I'm splurging as you know the financial crisis. Looking around, chocolate fountain, bread and butter, mini chocolate cake, creme brulee, homemade cookies I was so excited to eat them. I helped myself with a lot of food. I kept standing up and taking and taking. Afterwards I felt sleepy. I didn't eat dim sum as I am not a fan of it. I saved space for all the delicious food and dessert.

I know I'm long winded that's what Shi Qi always use to decribe me but thank you so much to the friends who helped me celebrate my fifteenth birthday. I'm never lonely with friends like y'll.

Tomorrow is the season finale of The Amazing Race! Thinking of waking up early. Well it's the exam season, wish you all, all the best!
I remember on two days ago on Friday I went for my piano lesson, I still had cough and a lot of phlegm at that time. You know what my teacher was so scared. She opened the studio door when we were doing theory. I even used the hand sanitizer before I played the piano. Yeah I know I kept coughing but at least I turned away and covered my mouth whenever I do so and I was recovering.Ok, maybe I shouldn't blame her everybody is worried about the flu bug.
Next week is gonna be tough, cos there will be many papers that require a lot of studying. My Chinese is just terrible! I'm stuck with the primary six standard.
I envy Xuan Wen's ability to read and write chinese so well. I have to admit Shi Qi's very good in chinese too. What am I saying? Of course she 's good cos she is from higher chinese, Mei Jiao too. I remember Wei Xuan getting top score for her higher chinese compo last year. Oh no, thinking of it sure makes me feel that my chinese is incomparable to them.

Yes...I love subway!!! It's so yummy, the toasted bread with melty cheese, wif picles, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce.....and some meat plus 2 subway cookies are delicious! hahas :)

Exam is round the corner, I dunno y I still so lazy, maybe I'm turnin into a lazy bum (really afraid of that). In PE, I slack, when I'm studying, I get distracted so easily! I'm only hard working in guitar and singing and that's really bad! I better kick off that bad habit soon!

I don't love Subway, now I'm getting sick of it. Anyway had lunch with Alice, Jenell, Mei Jiao, Christina, wp , Shi Qi and Carina yesterday. Shi Qi said that the Tako Yaki wasn't nice and I'm suspecting of she's full or not, she said she wanna jian fei maybe for that person. Hahas! Did not do much for P.E beacuse I have cough and yesterday when I returned home I had fever of 38.9 degrees. I still remeber my primary school friend saying that when his temperature hit 40 degrees he fainted. At home I covered myself with a blanket while sleeping with the air-con turned off. When it was time for dinner, my sis came up and called me . I was still hiding under my blanket because I was so lethargic, sis was wondering why I didn't feel stuffy at all. Now I'm feeling better. Oh my gosh! Saw David Archuleta yesterday and he is cute! Too cute! I was screaming at the top of my voice, my thorat hurts for the day, hahas. I miss Japan!
This time I visited Tokyo I didn't visit my friends.
When I was primary 6 I did but I found it very hard to communicate because I couldn't speak Japanese.
When I step into the supermarket, I recall the times. I love the onigiri. Its a sushi rice made into a bigger triangle filled with some meat or vegtables wrapped around seaweed. Yum!

WHY?>CUZ-legs pain, sleep so long in the bus which may lead u to grow fat?Nth to do in the bus . -terrible thing ..... travel so long juz to c te scenery 4 a while..hai so sianz.(ex. travel 9h to c something which only need 0.5h)

Overall==== going outing is also a cool and good thing to do when it is holiday as it can let ur time go faster instead or everyday stays at home sians. Can buy new things and c more things around us .And also take photos.
